SORRY, I AM CLOSED FOR A FEW MINUTES...
The practice of meditation is not reserved exclusively for monks nor masters...

On the surface, it often seems like one must become a guru of some kind in order to achieve a meditative state. But the question becomes, what is meditation? What are the benefits of meditating? Perhaps the word itself has enough mystery for many people, that they simply shy away from investigating themselves practicing it.

For me, and this is an opinion of course, meditation is simply "sitting in silence"... that's it, nothing more, nothing less. So how difficult can that be right? At the onset, quite difficult. Not because YOU CAN'T sit in silence, but predominantly because your senses have a hard time achieving that silence... The silence one wants to achieve must be such that all that is really left in your focus is you and your self. By having no other distractions than just being with yourself, you literally then open a direct connection which allows you to communicate dimensionally between your 3D self and your Higher Self (which could be residing in 5D or higher).
