We emerge in this world with 2 basic covenants, first the power of Free Will and second the virtue of Ignorance of where we come from and who we truly are.  It's as if the moment we birth, we feel our true life commencing, running its course through multiple experiences and ending upon expiring.  Like so many say:  You have but one life to live, so make the best of it...

I strongly adhere to the principle that Ignorance is a virtue, for if we came here with full memory of who we are and all the past lives we had the privilege of creating, we could not create anew.  For me, this life you lead in the moment must emerge from a new canvas, a blank slate if you will, for you are first and foremost a Creator.  No true artist creates from a previous painting, by just adding a few more colours and calling it art.  No, the artist creates from nothing by drenching him or herself into imagination.  Perhaps the same can be said about each and every person's life, where Ignorance represents the open canvas waiting for the brush strokes to begin.
